TGIF, I guess
February 12th, 2010 10:35 pmFridays are Fridays, I guess.
After a lot of thought about the job offer I have decided to turn it down. It is just a bit too risky. I spent some time trying to learn a bit more about the company owner and his previous venture and while I did not come across anything hideous, I just did not come across much that was promising either. There was an article in the Free Lance Star from last year about a seminar he held trying to get investors. I also found one property that he is selling - but only one. C'est la vie.
A call into Dr. Truong's office about my returning to the treadmill was no help since she was not in the office. I will err on the side of caution and not use the treadmill until she can clear me to do so next week.
Tucker got to play in the snow several times today again. He is like a kid out there. He runs around and and finds tennis balls that I throw for him by digging into the snow where they land. It is a real treat to watch him frolic. Late this afternoon I got the bright idea of letting him play with his big red ball, thinking that it would not roll into the woods with all the snow. WRONG! Off it went with Tucker chasing after it. He came back a while later ... wet, full of mud and with a very red muzzle.
Via Craigslist I found a neat bedroom set that I am going to take a look at tomorrow. It's made a for a queen size bed, but I am hoping that it will work with my current mattress (a full-sized).
This evening brought an email from my attorney with the settlement agreement! Both the ex and I read it over and a few tweaks have been sent back to my lawyer. The biggest hurdle now is the ex being able to move out with all the snow. He *says* he will start moving some stuff out this weekend.
