pandasheart: (whistlejacket)
While I did not partake in any green beer or bagels, I did have corned beef and cabbage for lunch. In fact, I have been having it for dinner for the last few nights as well. LOL

Today found me outside doing more yard work since it was a wonderful day weather-wise. I'm trying to reclaim the driveway that goes past the second garage; it has several years worth of leaves on it. So far I have managed to burn a path to a small shed that is out there. Burning the leaves is so much easier than carting them!

Parts of the front yard are raked up too and look much happier now. The area that I dump the leaves in is the old stump pile from when they built the house. This area too has several years of leaves covering the path back to it so I managed to rake up a bit back there as well.

It's a slow process (especially when I had to stop and fix my leaf rake in the middle of raking) but I want the house to look nice and to prove to myself that i can do it. Plus there is nothing like the buzz of spring cleaning to get this projects going.

The dogs continue to get along very well. Last night I let them sleep in the bedroom with me instead of their crates. Although I closed the bedroom door, no mischief happened. Tonight we expand the horizon. Hopefully Duchess will be a good girl.

Today we learned that Duchess likes to fetch tennis balls. She seemed to be coming to me when called better than Tucker! At tonight's last walk, I figured that I would introduce her to the laser beam since Tucker adores it so much. At first she was uncertain why Tucker running around like a maniac but once I showed the light beam a few times, she got interested in it and bounced after it.

Nothing from my attorney on the final version of the settlement agreement. The delays are simply maddening.
