This is my last day before rejoining corporate America. I have no idea of what I will wear but I have located my lunch box. A girl has got to have priorities!
I'm sporting a fresh haircut that I got this afternoon at a local place called HairQuarters. The stylist, named Sheila, had shocking orange-red hair, got her first tattoo at age 60 and did a pretty fine job on my hair. Sucker that I was, I bought the overpriced spray gel from the salon too.
Thanks to Mom's pipe-cutter, my closet project is now complete! Having the right tool for the job is so important. Of course, this is not to knock improvisation but why re-invent the wheel when you don't have to.
Something that I would like to reinvent is my bloody shower pipe in the master bath. This morning I went to Lowes and returned the internal pipe wrench that was not doing the job and looked to see if they had any nipple extractors in stock. Nope! Turns out that Tractor Supply does not have the Easy Out tool or anything else that would work either. My final hardware store stop of the day was a True Value in Lake of the Woods. While it turns out that they did not have anything to do the job, at the least the guy that helped me was nice and really tried hard to come up with a solution for me. He says all shower pipe is 1/2". LOL
Had a yummy lunch with Mom after playing with the put bull puppies. Their eyes are still blue and they are still uncoordinated, but they're just adorable. In a week's time they should be really zooming all over the place.
