pandasheart: (whistlejacket)
No post for yesterday since I worked too many hours and got home tired again. I did manage to get back the push mower from the service place around the corner though. $100 later, I have a fixed mower.Next up is for the guy to go pick up Mom's small riding mower, fix it and deliver it back to here so I can mow the lawn in something under 3 hours.

To my furry children, Tucker and Duchess: Sorry that I got upset this evening but after you guys broke my special piece of petrified wood yesterday into many pieces, today's incidents of licking my eye, walking so close to me that you step on my shoes, jumping in the truck when I was trying to clean it and not coming when you are called sort of pushed me over the edge. Lucky for me that lots of petting and dog biscuits work wonders.

A mortgage application has been submitted with a new company - in fact it is the same guy that is building the house we hope to get for Mom.

Tomorrow morning will find me in the dentist's chair for an hour and a half so that I can get some serious deep cleaning stuff done. I am dreading it horribly and am worried about my jaw which hurt a lot after my last visit.

The big bruise on my knee is mostly shades of brown now. Outside of the first day, it really has not hurt much.

My computer and other vital work stuff is moved into the fishbowl office at work. Most of my personal and desk drawer type things are still in my old office since I am using a table for a desk in the short term. My old office has already been labeled a conference room. Somehow I sense that I will not make it past my 90 day review. My boss is frustrated with my progress there but her constant changing of my priorities makes it a tad challenging to say the least.
