Is it Friday yet?

After a very harrowing day at the office that included discussing the doom that would explode on our heads if the missing mail was not found ($75,000 in fines since the client in this case is the federal government) - lo and behold the mail was found in a desk drawer late in the afternoon. Far too much stress over 147 pieces of mail!

Add to that some bonus jobs that were tossed into the production schedule that I knew nothing about, slow running jobs, a miss communication about Spanish vs. Foreign (que?) and my boss reversing decisions that she just made last week and I am in need of a massage, a bottle of lambic and a good night's rest.

Speaking of explosions though it seems that I had one here in the house last night. One of the rats that came from Mom's gave birth to 14 babies. So before work I separated out the new mommy rat so she could have some peace and quiet with her new brood.

dreamtigress is in town to help Mom with the house (we're taking turns). Mom and the gang stopped by after I got home from work to drop off a fridge to store in my basement and they even brought dinner. YAY!

True to his word, the lawnmower guy had the pushmower in my driveway when I got home. It stalled out twice on me, but I was able to get the front island part of the yard mowed.
