Just a Thursday
July 22nd, 2010 09:11 pmThis morning I was in the dentist chair by 7 am. Fortunately I did not have any of the issues as last time with the nitrous and things went much smoother. The hygienist gave me a big hug when it was all over.
After gassing up the Endeavor, I came home ate some toast, checked work emails and crashed for about three hours.
Once I was coherent again, I had some soup an then checked more emails from work. Turns out the warehouse guy who gave us heartburn yesterday was canned today and then proceeded to go a bit nuts and made several threats. Let's hope he is full of hot air and does not do anything stupid.
Also from my work emails, I learned that our PM driver had a minor incident involving our truck and a USPS truck at the mail facility. Fortunately no one was hurt and the damage was very minor.
With all that happy news I headed to Fredericksburg to see Dr. Truong. She did several trigger point injections in my lower back and I need to see her in a few weeks for more.
Since the Endeavor was horribly overdue for an oil change, I stopped in at Jiffy Lube where I was so underwhelmed by the person that greeted me that I left and drove a few doors down to the Grease Monkey. The Grease Monkey crew gave me a warm reception, explained everything in great detail that they were going to do and took very care of me and the Endeavor. What a difference customer service makes!
