Thank Goddess It's Friday!
Today was a blistering hot day in VA - temperatures in the area reached 103 degrees with a heat index of 110! With the heat and humidity so high, I have been taking the Endeavor to work more and more - it's just too hot for the Wing.
Speaking of work, it was another whacky day at the office. A client who forgot to schedule the trucking company to pick up their project that we busted a hump to get done on time was at the top of the list of face palms. I would go on about work, but hey, it's the weekend and I don't want to think about work anymore!
My mailbox had a nice surprise for me today ... the check from the mortgage company with the overage on the loan. It's not huge, but at least it was them writing the check and not me!
