The countdown is now in mere hours until daecabhir and I get to see each other again. Yes, we are like two lovesick teenagers. No, we don't really care that we are dorks.

On a serious note, thank you for all the inquiries and well wishes; I feel VERY loved!

Found a few jobs to put in for today, including one at George Mason's Manassas facility. No leads on an interview of any kind yet with any of the other submissions that I have made.

Yesterday evening Tucker needed to being touching me at all times. Today it was Duchess' turn - she was a complete nudge with lots of whining. Mom says it's because they know I am going away for the weekend again. of course, I've already told them that have to share me with daecabhir  and that they better be on the very best behavior when he comes to visit.

In other pet news, shadow, the Am Staff that Mom adopted is getting ready to whelp. We have no idea of who the father is so it will be a guessing game as the pups develop. This, of course, will be the last litter she is permitted to have. Hopefully the pups will be adorable and easy to find homes for.

This morning the dogs went on high alert and when i went to see what the fuss was about, there was a 4 point buck sauntering across my back yard. I've never seen any deer in the back yard so this was a real thrill. Of course, crossbow was in the Endeavor, the muzzle loader and Kimber are both downstairs so all I could do was watch him walk into the woods.

Despite that tease I choose not to go hunting with the wind still blowing and a chance of rain. I'll have to make up some lost hunting time soon!
