Happy shiny time

Happy, shiny time indeed! Best hug ever when daecabhir walked through the door Saturday evening.

Saturday update: Drove to pick up dreamtigress and headed to Fredericksburg where we did a bit of fun shopping and then met Auntie Anne and Uncle Joe for lunch at the Fredericksburg pub. Mom was not able to join us because Shadow, the AmStaff, decided to have puppies. After lunch, we headed to Baltimore; timing was perfect and MUCH shiny time ensued! Had a wonderful dinner with my amazing man, much chopstick fun and loving looks.

As dreamtigress says, we're adorkable.

Sunday: An extra hour of shiny time for the win! daecabhir  and I picked up dreamtigress  and off to the gem and jewelry show we went. While the show was fun of sparklies and such, it is much smaller than I recall and the folks with fun rocks are completely absent. Also gone is my favorite silver dealer, Quantum. Did manage to score some wonderful dragonfly charms to create a pair of earrings with as well a clasp made from the same design.  Afterward we went to Tambers for a nummy lunch, a great game of peek-a-boo with a little girl and the best company ever.

Puppy update: Shadow had 4 live pups (plus one still born) with two girls and two boys. can't wait to see them.

Speaking of can't wait to see someone ... daecabhir will be picking me up this evening again. YAY
