Roofing, day 2
April 7th, 2011 09:33 pmThe crew came in a bit later this morning and unfortunately one of the helpers was a no-show. Laying down shingles goes fastest with a two-man team and we only had three guys. All in all though I think good progress was made.
Most of the house is under shingle, there is one small section of roof yet to be completed but it protected with tar paper and ice dam (we're expecting rain tonight). Hopefully Mother Nature will cooperate and let the guys finish up. beyond the last section to be shingled there is trim work, flashing and clean up yet to be done.

daecabhir will like our home's new look as well.
The gutter guy came out to take measurements and left samples with so thatdaecabhir and I can make a decision on color. Seems that most folks go with white and we all know that I am not "most" people.
