Humpity-hump day!
April 20th, 2011 09:13 pmThe house has new gutters! I am so glad that we chose something other than white. The color (called terratone) works wonderfully with the new roof and the color choice for the wood trim on the house. Now to get the painting done. Since I had the bug, I scrubbed, fixed and prepped the trim around the main garage entrance and was able to get the first coat of paint done. Hopefully I can get coat number two done tomorrow.
The pollen bloom (pun intended) is underway and there is a light coating of pollen on everything that stands still.
Had another hummingbird sighting today - this time while I was painting the garage trim. The hummer was just a few feet away from me in the lilac bush trying for some nectar.
Went and picked up the dogs from Mom's and had dinner with her. It's good to have the pups back home but someone (![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
