Yes, I am joking about the relaxing part, but we really did end up stove shopping since our stove has decided to go a bit wonky. Since I do most of the cooking, it had only gone wonky on me and I was beginning to wonder if it was me or the stove. Yesterday morning though the stove should its true colors (almond, really) and went crazy on

For the morbidly curious, the front right burner (regardless of which coil is in it) goes from whatever setting you have it on to raging-burning-hell hot with no warning, effectively scorching whatever you were attempting to cook. Since this is a fire hazard in addition to being horrendously inconvenient to two foodies, we're not messing about with it for much longer.
In case you were wondering, the Sunday before Halloween is not a wise time to go shopping at the mall when they are doing a free trick or treat she-bang for the kids. Holy moly!
