Another productive day!
January 28th, 2012 11:01 pmWe finished painting the bedroom doors (outside no less, thank you, Mother Nature). I'm really glad that with yesterday's stellar weather (in the 60's!) I was able to get a jump on the door painting since today was not as warm and much windier. We also got some more trim done, now's there's only one short run left to do.
daecabhir figured out wiring for the bedroom and got the phone jack in the headboard hooked up. My spiffy new dresser has been assembled and is filled with clothes. The bedroom is really looking good!
We had some yummy food today too. Since
daecabhir had suggested that we get into our Wolferman's English muffin stash this weekend, I got the brainstorm to make eggs Benedict. Substituting faux bacon (for him) and turkey bacon (for me) worked wonderfully. I love the flavor of hollandaise and this is one of my favorite ways to enjoy it. For lunch,
daecabhir made us scrumptious wraps while I was outside painting and for dinner we had faux chicken, balsamic vinegar-marinated hearts of palm and artichokes and spinach-zucchini pinwheel pasta. YUMMY!
The adorkable duo work very well together.
PS: Happy one-weekiversary to my husband!
