TGIF (March edition)
March 2nd, 2012 10:28 pmWith the wonderfully warm weather in the high-60's that we had on Thursday, it seems that I was bitten by the spring cleaning bug. Floors were vacuumed and mopped, bathrooms were cleaned. Lots done! Another accomplishment for the day was finally selling the waterbed platform that we bought last spring for our new bed. Via Craigslist, we got exactly what we paid for it. And we have part of garage back to boot.
Today was a studio day and I spent large chunks of my day in the basement. There was some re-arranging of the studio equipment and there is now a table for me to work on. The drywall work-boards I created earlier in the week came in handy to wedge clay on as well as for hand-building. One of the two bags of leftover clay from the class in Marshall has been transformed into pieces that are now drying.
daecabhir and I are spending the weekend at HOME for a change with not much planned to boot
Saturday should find us getting rid of some old florescent lights that my ex left here (yay for Freecycle). The new ceiling fan for the bedroom came in this week and installing it will be our priority. In the evening, we're taking
njzoomom out to dinner at Clearwater Grill to thank her for dog care.
On Sunday ... we don't actually have anything planned. How awesome is that!
