AC's back on tap

$250 later, our AC has been repaired. A bad condenser thingie was the culprit. Not to blame is the skink that seems to be living in the outside unit. I explained to it that the HVAC unit is a very poor choice of abodes and to please find new living quarters elsewhere in the yard.

My current 'battle' is with my new glasses. After going for another adjustment today (with a different tech - yay) I think my choice in frames may not have been a good one. Kathy, the tech, said that the Fossil frames I went with are very nice frames, but they are the flexible metal kind which cannot be shaped to my face (and help me see better out of the progressive lenses). She suggested that I see the doctor again so that we can get them right and if I need to choose different frames so be it (they have a 30-day guarantee).

daecabhir and I had a pretty productive weekend - there is more art on the walls, the living room and dining room both got a good cleaning and we made great strides in the office.

My honey came home tonight with flowers for me ... just because.

Am I a lucky girl, or what!
