Another week has flown right by me

Not quite sure how time keeps going faster and faster but I would like for it to slow down just a wee bit.

daecabhir's birthday dinner was a success - 'chicken' francaise, green beans sauteed in balsamic vinegar and oven-roasted lemon-butter red potatoes. Coffee ice cream was served for desert at request of the birthday boy.

Speaking of said birthday boy, he spent the week battling with his cold.

Let's see, what else has happened...

No sales at the Wednesday, July 25, farmer's market. At least I was in the shade all day.

On Saturday, the 28th, we headed up to MDRF to help dreamtigress with booth stuffs. We had planned to be there most of the day but with a still-recovering Panda and traffic being all sorts of snarled, we didn't arrive until just after 4:30 pm! There was a rock drop-off (no more white rocks under our deck) and a power washer pick up (njzoomom's) and ribbons (hung in the lane with care) and wet people (it rained). And coffee. There was a box of coffee.

No, really. Dunkin' Donuts sells coffee by the box. Who knew?

daecabhir is finally feeling more like himself today and I very grateful - I hate to see him so sick!
