Friday already?

How in the world is time passing so quickly? When I was a kid, it seemed that summer lasted forever. Now it's well into February and I feel like it should still be January.

Treadmill 2/7/13 = zero (I needed sleep)
Treadmill 2/8/13 = zero (we needed to get up early)

Today was wrap-up-the-taxes document day and I believe that we have everything to our accountant (thanks again to dreamtigress for 'loaning' us hers).

Work on my shawl is progressing slowly; besides not having enough hours in a day, my wrists are hurting a bit and my hands have been going numb again. It's hard to put the loom down sometimes, but I have to save my wrists for my day job.

Speaking of that gig, my studio is back in working order. Stock has been packed up the best that I can figure out how and next week should afford me a few days of clay time.

Tomorrow will find me at a fairly new store in downtown Culpeper called Harriett's General for a few hours as a featured artist* during the Downtown Culpeper Carnival. Nothing will be for sale but it gives me a chance to showcase some of my work and get my name out there.

*I don't call myself an artist. I'm a potter. Artisan if you want to get fancy.
