Playing catch up
March 10th, 2013 03:57 amOh my - it's been a while since I've posted anything of a real update, so I reckon I should put a little something in here since I can't seem to get to sleep.
Medicine - Medicine number one came off the list and we tried medicine number two. Turns out number two is worse and is now off my list. I may try number one again and take it night and perhaps a smaller dose.
Hips - I'm still sitting on the fence as to which treatment to pursue. It got a bit better but now its back to giving me trouble - mostly when I try to lay on either side.
Tessum Stoneware - Our trip to Hanover was a fun one. While we didn't spend quite as much time in the studio as planned, we still had a wonderful time visiting with Terry and his awesome wife, Judy. I came home with a few new tricks, two new forms, an assignment of pottery to create for MDRF, an electronic scale and a few other goodies. Sadly we did not get a chance to meet up with B & J on this trip. On the flip side, I discovered that country-fried steak with Hollandaise sauce is a nomilicious thing indeed.
Knitting - Since completing my first shawl, I've knit three hats out of leftover yarn. I'll be donating these hats to charity.
Snowed in - We got about 8-10 inches of heavy-packed snow this week and
daecabhir was home all day on Wednesday. We lost power for two days but the woodstove kept us nice and toasty.
