pandasheart: Panda's Heart (huh?)
Oh. Well, I probably messed up that quote, but I think you get the idea.

Another post that will probably be reduced to bullet points, but that is how I am thinking these days.

Knitting - Two more hats charity have been finished and another cast on. This is a great stash buster for using up odd yarn that is taking up space in my stash bins and will hopefully make someone happy once I find a charity to donate them to where I don't have to mail them anywhere. And the knitting keeps my head from spinning right off!

Pottery - The extruder has been installed and I've made my first two baskets. While I am pretty proud of them, they need to get better and I'll be working on them during my next studio time. Four more yarn bowls are drying. I tried texturing the inside of the bowls this time and can't wait to see how these fire. Tomorrow will find us picking up the kiln, vent systems, kiln furniture, and more shelving from Gail Holle. Good thing too because I have still have the last load bisqueware to glaze and fire and I really want to do that with the vent system in place.

VARF - Well, this would be I'm going a bit crazy. After spending way too many hours in fabric stores, I finally picked out the fabric for the tent's costume - all 14 yards of it! My tent will be navy and tan with (most likely) burgundy trim. [livejournal.com profile] daecabhir most the most excellent suggestion of putting up the tent and playing with the shelf configuration. We need to keep our options open since we won't know exactly how to set up until we get our space assignment the week before faire opens. A fan order has been placed and fan pouches are in the beginning stages of constructions - I have to make enough stock for me at VARF and get on jump on stock for [livejournal.com profile] dreamtigress. Procured for above sewing ventures is a bias tape maker. The tent alone will require over 40 feet of trim alone.

Health baloney - My hips are hurting less these days and the only significant change that I have made is to get a 1/4" lift in my right shoe. The tendonitis in my right arm flares up now and again but I am trying to take it easy on it. Drug #1 at half-dose is not bothering me when taken at night, I am undecided about going to full-strength; I'll probably make a decision next week.

The adorkable duo just celebrate their 14th month-a-versary. Yes, we that sappy and adorkable. You're not really surprised, are you?

And just because I have not said it here in a while - I have the best husband on the planet.
