R&R weekend

daecabhir smashed his pinkie in the car door Friday morning on his way to work. After a few phone calls and pictures of said smashed finger, it was determined that a trip to ER/urgent care was not needed. With this trauma though, it was an easy decision that we needed some R&R, so Saturday evening found us in the most excellent company of Spyke and Majack for dinner, drinks and hot tub time.
Sunday was spent sleeping in really late and then playing tent tetris to figure out the best set-up for VARF. Since we had dragged out a lot of shelving, we went ahead and dismantled the needed units and loaded them in the trailer. We also figured out a back drop (some ultra-cheap twin-sized sheets from Goodwill - brand new and in navy) that should work just fine.
Today was a glazing day in the studio. The smokey merlot has been mixed (it takes a LONG time to mix up 25 pounds of dry glaze). More fan pouches have been started as well.
