This stinks!
July 8th, 2013 11:31 pm"This" would be my Endeavor. While the dead mouse smell is not as pungent as it was, it's still pretty darned smelly. On my ride to town today, I had to ride with the windows open - otherwise the stink is too overbearing. The replacement blower motor we ordered came today and it's the wrong one. daecabhir - he keeps trying to fix my SUV and nothing seems to be working.
New computers have been ordered (my man rocks). My desk top has been been making horrible noises for a LONG time now anddaecabhir's laptop is getting pretty long in the tooth as well. Of course there will be a pretty big learning curve for me ... the new system will have Windows 7 (I've been running XP for years) not to mention that my current Office Suite 2000.
Tonight I tried two new recipes for dinner: Ricotta pie (compliments ofnjzoomom) and purple Thai sticky rice with mango. The ricotta pie didn't exactly set our taste buds on fire or anything but we cleaned our plates. The Thai sticky rice was good although not as sticky as it is in the restaurants and my coconut sauce was not quite as sweet. It couldn't have been too bad since both cleaned our plates a second time.
