Canadian yarn trip #2
March 16th, 2015 06:54 pmFrom my Ravelry post:
We actually went to Wool Tyme twice; once on the Saturday of the wedding and again on Monday. When we went there on the 14th, my sister-in-law (who recently started crocheting again and is going to play with her daughter’s looms) came with me but time was short because of the wedding. This store is HUGE and full of so much yarn! When you walk in, you start with lace and work your way through the store to the bulky - all organized by size. SiL and I hadn’t even gotten through the bulky when Mr. Panda came back to pick us up.
Since Wool Tyme was closed on Sunday,
daecabhir - the gem that he is - said that we could stop back on our way out of Ottowa. While the stop took _way_ longer than anticipated, but I certainly had some fun shopping. They have an entire room of sale yarn in addition to all the stock fiber. The only loom item was a 6-peg, wooden spool loom that was made in Canada. I was temped to get one, but since I had already picked out a lot yarn, I passed.
