It's not just the great music.
It's not just that Dave Gahan prances on stage with the ease of someone half his age.
It's not just Martin Gore giving you a little piece of his soul when he sings.
It's not just seeing DM truly enjoy what they are doing when they perform.
It's not just the amazing set.
It's not just DM toying with the audience with esoteric openings for their older hits.
What a show!
Brian & I took advantage of the less than sold out show to upgrade out lawn seat to pavilion for a whooping $10 a seat!
For the second time in a row, we went to the show not having purchased the new CD yet. It's neat to hear the songs live first & it worked with Playing the Angel.
DM's energy was amazing. Whether it was Dave spinning on stage with the flair of flamenco dancer or the music so vibrant it made you buzz, the show was [another] one to remember.
