Wow
Again ... I saw wow!
Suzanne was AWESOME! We met and discussed the tattoo. She said she was impressed because I really did my homework before the tattoo. The various dragonfly images that I sent to her were really helpful and watching her work up the design in Photoshop was just mindblowing.
In hardly any time at all we had a working design and then the stencil. First placement of the stencil was perfect and we got to work. Really, it was Suzanne who got to work, all I did was lay around. hehe
After laying out the outline, we took a little break and I was thrilled with what I saw. Her shading is fabulous and I could have walked out with an excellent tattoo at that point. But then we started on the color and this time I sat up up on the table (using Mom for a back rest) so that I could see Suzanne work.
It was neat getting to watch the process for a change and Suzanne and I worked out the coloring together as she inked. She really made sure that I was involved in everything - which for this tattoo is SO fitting.
The finished product is stunning. Suzanne's work is truly amazing. She said I was a great client and would love to have me back. I'd be happy to oblige her.
Having Mom with me and being part of the tattoo was wonderful - thanks Mom!!
