Preparing for the big one!

We are getting ready for a LOT of snow. Current forecast calls for things to start around noon tomorrow and snow through Saturday - dumping 1 to 2 FEET of snow. Understand that south of the Mason-Dixon line we rarely discuss winter precipitation in any measurement larger than an inch. I don't really mind a big snow ... it's not like I have a job to travel to currently. Though with the cam boot on my foot, I can't go walking in the snow or anything either.
Since I am feeling a bit better and starting to get cabin fever, I headed out for Culpeper and visited with Mom for lunch. She made the largest meatloaf ever that was pretty yummy. We scoped out some various furniture choices that I get to make and I got to meet the new geckos. (One never knows what new critters there will be to meet at Mom's.)
Besides the various and sundry items that I typically take home after a visit with Mom, I also brought home my second-box computer. Big thank you's to
insegnante,
dreamtigress, and Hunter for the coordinated effort.
On the way home I did some shopping at Martin's and bought the mandatory milk and toilet paper along with other stuff we need and a few storm-type supplies. I also scored some of Wahlgreen's version of Mucinex and I am happy to report that my tsunami of snot has retreated somewhat.
Some sad news: I found a good-sized lump under Sasha's neck. Rats with tumors simply do not have a very long life span. While I wanted to get down to just one cage for the rats, this was not how I intended to do it.
Treadmill = zero (Doctor's orders!)
The settlement papers have not yet arrived, I really hope they come tomorrow.
