Commute in = 1 hour, 10 minutes
Commute home - 2 hours, 10 minutes
It is going to take some time to find the sweet spot of the commute. Since it makes no sense for me to be there way early at first, I am still working on getting an earlier start. I can go in as early as 6 am but that would put me leaving the house before 5 am. Hopefully arriving at 7 am and leaving at 3:30 pm will work out traffic-wise.
Day 2 and I still like my job. << LOL >> There is a LOT Of work to be done in the production management arena which will be my domain. As my old VP used to say, "It's an opportunity to excel!" Among the things that I need to learn is the software system that we use for the business. As it turns it out only a small portion of it is being utilized currently and we need to be running just about everything through it.
The dogs were awfully happy to see me this evening especially since I was late getting home.
Another trip to Home Depot yielded a bit more information about my plumbing predicament but alas, no Easy Out tool. Turns out that the INSIDE diameter of standard plumbing pipe is 1/2" and the OUTSIDE diameter is 5/8". Whew! At least one thing solved. It seems that I may just have to order the Easy Out tool online and wait for it to be shipped. Ugh!
Treadmill = zero (Are you kidding?)
The battery for the GoldWing came today and after installing it, the Wing started right up. YAY! With tomorrow's temperatures hitting the 80's I plan on riding the bike to work.
