We think it's over

The City of Baltimore finally came out today and fixed the sewer issue. Not being able to do dishes or laundry or shower regularly all week has been a royal PITA. The City workers laughed when I told them that I was actually looking forward to doing laundry and dishes. One guy even offered to let me come home with him so I could his dishes.

Um .... NO.

What I have gotten done since they left is run the dishwasher and washer successfully (no flooding of the basement). The kitchen is clean and fajitas are cooking (they smell yummy). During the day today I worked on a special project involving the middle floor of the city home ... hopefully daecabhir will be pleased. He's on his way home now so I shouldn't have to wait too long to find out if I am on the naughty or nice list.

Tomorrow is a mostly take-it-easy day (we are SO sleeping in!) with just a few errands to run. Sunday may find us in Virginia (indeed, we were supposed to be there for the entire weekend at the country home) but Mother Nature is threatening snow.

No fruition as of yet with regards to the good news from attorney. Quite frankly, I would like for someone's asshattery to be over; I would like very much to close that chapter of my life.

No news on job stuffs which is downright discouraging. After daecabhir and I had chatted last night about the situation, I think I will start applying for part-time gigs that pay well.

Glad the plumbing adventure seems to be over !
