Good News/Bad News Day

Good news:
Cricket is eating, drinking & alert. She is rolling over to get her tummy rubbed. Wounds are healing & her odd neck tilt is going away.

Bad news:
Cricket does not seem able to use either of her front legs.


Good news:
I did not come down with the cold that it felt like was coming yesterday.

Bad news:
My wisdom tooth is impacted.

Good news:
We're nearing the completion of our flooring project.

Bad news:
The flooring project is not complete.

OK, maybe that one is a stretch - I just want it to be done!

Cricket and no front feet

AM, I am so sorry to hear about Cricket. I know how hard it is to deal with a pet in dire straights. Let me encourage you, however: I saw a TV show the other week where they had different remarkable animals. There was a dog who'd been born without front legs. This dog didn't want to eat and was shunned by her mother. The owners took the pup in, and eventually taught her to walk on her hind feet. She started by hopping, and then learned to walk, one foot in front of the other.

You know I will support you whatever you decide.
