Manic Mondays

daecabhir and I packed up the Prius this morning so that he could head north. We're really looking forward to Mondays where no one has to pack up.

The house is really quiet without him here. He says city home is pretty quiet too.

Learned a bit more about our lowest bid for the roof - so far everything is checking out. daecabhir and I agreed on what color to go with (weathered wood by GAF/Certainteed) so the hardest part is out of the way.

On Saturday before we left for C'ville, the corset arrived from Le Chateau Exotique. Since we heading out the door when it arrived, daecabhir made me wait until Sunday to try it on. The corset itself is simply amazing! The leather is amazingly soft and the cut of the corset fits my curves well. We were, however, unhappy to learn that the 'topper" for the corset was not constructed to our specifications. After consulting our favorite leather worker, dreamtigress, for a reality check, I called Le Chateau and talked with Shawn about what to do. She was very apologetic and once I return the corset, she will have the issues corrected. Additionally, I'll be purchasing better buckles for the topper and sending them along with the corset so that they can upgrade the buckles at the same time.

Yay for great customer service.
