First show is a wrap

Well, the two things that I said would make today's venue a success (no broken pottery and my gazebo not blowing over) happened, so we'll call it a win.
Not that I sold any pottery.
Several former co-workers stopped in to say hello which was nice and the folks that took the time to look over my pieces seemed to like them. Not surprisingly, items glazed in Ellen's blue garnered compliments as did the large square bowl. My spot for this first time was between a lady selling and a couple selling fresh vegetables; both sets of folks were great neighbors. The vegetable folks helped me set up my gazebo and I, in turn, helped the bread lady set up hers.
njzoomom surprised me with a visit right before closing and helped me packed things up.
Of course, I worried for nothing; but hey, that's what I do.
Best question of the day: "What is this stuff made of?"
Most common question of the day: "Do you actually make this stuff?"
Our new fridge should be delivered tomorrow (it's for the basement to replace two older fridges). It'll be nice to have an energy-efficient place to store little used foodstuffs, items that I like to stock up on, and some adult beverages for
daecabhir and I (e.g. beer and lambic).
Speaking of my man, he rocks. He got up early, helped me load the truck this morning, made his own breakfast and still found time to make the bed before he left and leave me a wonderful note on my pillow. I'm a very lucky lass.
