Warning! There is bound to be whining below this line!
Today has been an 'off' day in too many days. From weird wrist pain to a flat tire to a smashed finger to forgotten squash to blah, blah, blah.
The wrist - Noticed odd pangs of pain in my right wrist. Always in the same spot. There's no rhyme or reason to them;
njzoomom says it's definitely nerve pain and I believe her. It feels like someone zaps me with a baby cattle prod every now and again. Sometimes I'll go a for an hour or two and be just fine and sometimes they come in waves. Although I threw a lot of clay yesterday, my wrists weren't sore, I rubbed topricin into both wrists before I slept with my bracers on - sheesh.
The flat tire - With delightful weather this afternoon, I decided to give the lawn a much-needed manicure and take our new-to-us Cub Cadet out for the inaugural test mow. About three passes in, something didn't feel right and I looked down to see that bead of one of the rear tires had popped. No more mowing. The poor Cub Cadet is sitting in the front yard propped up and the wheel is in the Endeavor; I'll get it fixed when I go to town on Friday.
Oh yeah - also on Friday will be an upper GI, bloodwork and puppy transfer.
Smashed finger - Since I couldn't mow the lawn, I figured that I would get the rest of the mopping done. Great idea until I smashed my right index finger on a dining room chair. OW
Forgotten squash - They were on my grocery list but did I remember to buy them? No!
Fortunately,
daecabhir is patient with his whiny, forgetful girl.
Bed time will come early for us tonight - we both really need to get a good's night rest. Tomorrow morning will be an early one since we have some contractors coming to the house to discuss some country home projects.
