The other day, after FINALLY picking up my bow again after over a year, I was way surprised to find myself shooting decent groups. Heck, I was amazed when the first arrow hit the target!
Yesterday evening as we were preparing to shoot, I spotted a large doe out in our drainfield. I had to do a double take because my first thought was that we only have one 3-D deer target & I know it doesn't reside on the drainfield. haha
The doe watched us for a short bit, but finally got a bit nervous & stamped her feet & then took off. I can't wait until hunting season!
After tweaking my sight a bit, Brian encouraged me to shoot at the 3-D target ... 5 of 7 arrows in the kill zone, with 2 landing a little high above it.
While I still have my eye on a crossbow, it felt nice to shoot the compound. No clue yet what will happen when I try shooting broadheads again.

Thanks!
