Snippets of stuff

Snippet #1 ~ Bad Dog Cooper strikes again. Cooper, who has been at his 'summer' home with my Mom for several days, came home yesterday with me. At some point in the evening, he is acting restless & wants to go out, so Brian lets him out. Calling him a few times throughout the evening results in no Beagle. Bedtime rolls around & still no Cooper. This morning rolls around & no Cooper. Brian gets home early from work & tracks him down at the neighbor's place ... most likely with a female in heat. Bad Dog Cooper!
Snippet #2 ~ We have a Bluebird scoping out the yard & bluebird houses! I saw him first in a tree the other day & could hardly believe my eyes; this morning he was perched on top of one of the houses. I really hope they find a house they like here.
Snippet #3 ~ The Wolf Pack [TM] is still here. The ugly female definitely looks pregnant; she is getting really thick in the middle. I keep thinking about checking in with the Beagle Rescue for the Mid-Atlantic area, but the urge to have some puppies is great. They are so adorable & stuff.
A friend is coming by for dinner this evening. Being a bachelor, he seems thrilled by the prospect of a homecooked meal. He's a real sweetheart that Brian & I think the world of. And he looks rather dapper in a kilt! (I'm hoping our friend will help me convince Brian that he would look great in a kilt too.)
More friends are coming for a visit & dinner tomorrow evening. Maybe I can send them home with a Beagle?
