Ooohhh Pretty!

As Brian & I were sitting out on the front lawn playing with the puppies, he noticed that my rose had a single bloom!  what a sneaky rose bush ... last time I checked for buds, I did not find anything.  Of course, I had to run right over & inhale just as deeply as I could. 

We made the executive decision to leave the puppies out overnight.  It will be the first time we are doing so.  Between theft & (the more likely scenario) of a critter carrying a puppy off, we have been bringing them in every night.  After moving their pen close to our window, we bid them good night.

I'll be glad when Culpeperfest is over.  Trying to get ready for a big event this quickly is one heck of a lot of work.!

I have a rose bush that dad brought down that came out of Nannie's garden, and it's full of blooms, I was thinking about doing a little painting of a rose.
