I spent the last bit of my day watching commercials. Really. I was asked to review the commercial spots that CFC is currently running on local cable. While I was expecting home movie quality, I was pleasantly surprised to find the spots fairly well done & a step above typical local cable programming.
That said, they are not without issues ... like a red Ford ranger driving through a store-front scene on two of the commercials. Very distracting! This ending was left in on purpose, because other spots have the same basic shot concept without the truck. Several other nit-picky things ... such as no phone numbers or our URL, but there is nothing that a little bit of editing can't fix.
Maybe a certain retired marketing friend of mine (hint hint) can give me some pointers!
The question of the day:
"Do box turtles lay eggs?"
(Asked by the while watching a box turtle in our yard.)
Sure enough, there was a box turtle about to lay eggs in our yard. She had dug her hole & everything. Sadly though, we had Cooper & the puppies running loose before we knew she was there & it must have been too much excitement for her. I hope she has found a safe place to lay them.
