It's awfully late...
January 10th, 2006 12:12 am... and I am at work.
Apparently I am a glutton for punishment. The second shift supervisor for my company is out on medical leave for 8-12 weeks - leaving the second shift without a manager. After a few other leads fell through, my boss asked me if I would take it on.
I said yes.
What in the world does this mean?
My new & improved hours are from 2pm to 12:30am, Monday through Thursday. Four 10 hour days. Sort of. The second shift runs overtime on Fridays... negating my 3-day weekend. This also does not count calls & what-not if my clients need me since I will maintain service of my accounts while pulling this stint.
Among other big changes is that I have been moved to a new office. I no longer have a window & my new digs are so noisy that I have gotten a headache 2 days in a row. And it's so cold I have dubbed it Siberia!
Well, my first stint on the second shift is about over, so I am outta here!
