Here it is week two of my tenure as the infamous second shift manager. No one (including me) has left the building in tears or bloody yet. Does that mean I know what I am doing or that I am lucky (or both)?
Home improvement news flash: Our water heater was died a watery death having sprung a leak ~ while we were in NJ no less. The ex & I went online to do some research this morning, then hit the stores for a little comparison shopping. Sears was the big winner over Home Depot & Lowe's. As is it was then time for me to go to work, the ex got the thrill of getting to install our new water heater all by himself. Hopefully there was enough hot water for him to take a shower when he was done!
Valentines Day party update: the ex said YES to us going to the Valentines Day party we were invited. I am stoked!
Tigery-one bulletin: The countdown is on for the HGTV shoot featuring my sister. She is a bucket of nerves :::wave to DreamTigress::: but it will be ultimately awesome for her business. Go Tiger!
Random wildlife glimpse: Last week I saw a red-tailed hawk feasting on some roadkill ... an oddity indeed. I always feel so lucky to get a look at hawks since they are one of my familiars.
