1. What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before?
Tried to save someone's life.

2. Did you keep your New Years' resolutions, & will you make more for next year?
I don't make any so I am off the hook from the start!

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Not that I know of.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
"Close" is relative ... so I say yes.

5. What countries did you visit?
Countries? I am lucky that I got to leave the state!

6. What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005?
The ability to relax? An engagement ring? A 10-point buck on the wall?

7. What date from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
May 24th. See numbers 1, 4 & 9.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
The cleanest shot on a deer to date.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Not being able to save my co-worker's life.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nothing major that I can recall.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
A huge poster of Whistlejacket.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Both mine & Brian's - we've been working really hard on getting along with one another.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
A co-worker of mine.

14. Where did most of your money go?
In my gas tank.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
The beach trip.

16. What song(s) will always remind you of 2005?
Not really a song ... but this game noise ... Bop it! Twist it! Pull it!

Happier or sadder? Yes

Richer or poorer? It's a wash.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Relaxing.

Been so bloody anxious.

Yes ... sometimes Brian makes me fall in love with him all over.

Zero.

22. What was your favorite TV program?
I don't watch TV ~ but I do adore watching "Monk" on DVD.

23. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Hate's a pretty strong word.

24. What was the best book you read?
The Notebook

25. What was your greatest musical discovery?
That Depeche Mode was coming to town!

26. What did you want & get?
Nails. Beautiful flooring.

At the risk of Brian reading this & really getting angry ... I plead the 5th!

28. What was your favorite film of this year?
Charlie & the Chocolate Factory.

29. What did you do on your birthday, & how old were you?
I was sick! Brian took me out to dinner to Carrabbas (yummy!) for my 41st.

30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Millions of dollars?

31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004?
Comfortable.

32. What kept you sane?

I'm still a sucker for Nicholas Cage.

The fact that George W. Bush is president.

Jim. Alan. Damn you both for dying before I was done with you.

The folks of the beach trip.

Despite your best efforts ... bad things happen.
