They still exist!
July 2nd, 2006 12:00 pmI thought they were all gone ... extinct ... but we found one. In fact, we learned that 8 of them still exist in Virginia alone. We even found one that lives a mere hour & a half away.
Last night ... we went to a DRIVE-IN MOVIE!
The Family Drive-In is located in Stephen City, VA. It has TWO screens, is a very lovely place & they run double features to boot. We went with our friends from NJ & Brian's brother, his wife & their boys.
Fast & Furious, Tokyo Drift was the first movie. Certainly not our first choice of films, but at least it didn't completely suck. X Men 3 was the real reason for our outing & it showed last. We came well equipped with food, drink & munchies. Backing the Endeavor up to the screen in the first row, we pulled out our chairs & made "camp" for the evening.
What a blast we had! The only bummer was getting home at 3 AM!
