Thud is the sound of me falling in to bed after another marathon day. For someone who is currently unemployed,I have been working REALLY hard lately!
We were up bright & early this morning since we had to drive to Charlottesville to work on one of the last components of the ninja mission. Once we finished up our business there, we drove to a friend's house just 3 miles shy of the West Virginia border.
The occasion?
This friend is turning 50! OMG - our friends are turning 50 already! LOL
With all the driving, we were horribly late but since about half of the folks were also running horribly late, it was all good.
Lots of old lady biker friends were in attendance & it was fun to catch up with the old crew. Since stepping down as president of the Diamond Roses (our old club) I really had not kept up with many of the girls any more. They've since formed a new club which oddly enough incorporates *my* BIKHER word!
Although the party was in full swing ~ indeed, one or two folks had not even gotten there yet ~ Brian & I had to head home since we were looking at a drive of close to 2 hours. We just can't party like we used to!
