Got waders?
April 15th, 2007 05:14 pmWow, It is raining here. Really raining. When it gets done raining, it starts raining some more! I hope you are warm & dry & safe if you are reading this.
The puppies are quickly becoming an absolute hoot! Every one in litter number 1 has learned to wag their tails! Their tails, by the way, are starting to get really long, like *real* Beagle tails, not just the stubby starter tails they get at first. A lot of the puppies are experimenting making various noises, some of which are sounding more & more like little barks & growls. It seems that the first time or two they make one of these noises, they surprise themselves!
In addition to the "adventurous girl" & "licking girl", we have the "most pretty boy" puppy. He's a lemon (although some of the lemons are really going red) with the best markings of the bunch. I make sure to handle all the puppies though so they get used to people & being handled . Sometimes we snatch up a puppy or two & bring them into the office for some extra loving. Brian likes to see if he make their little legs shake when he scratches certain spots.
The two boys of litter number are 2 are growing FAST! Since they have all of the momma's milk for just the two of them they are major little roly-poly puppies.
The collective term for the two litters of puppies?
Wolf Pack 2 [tm] of course!
