A sad day indeed
April 16th, 2007 06:35 pmThe tragedy at VA Tech today is a horrible, horrible event.
A co-worker spent some time on the phone with a VA Tech employee who was in lock down. Fortunately (if there is fortunate stuff about this) she knew enough information to stay secure, but not so much information that she was beyond freaked out over what was happening.
Tech is where I would have gone to vet school had I not been distracted by marketing so although I am not a Hokie by any means, the school still has my interest. Sadly, right now, it has the interest of the nation. I just wish it was for the football team or something else this time.
