Now that I have returned to the land of working people, I get to celebrate Fridays again. For the retired or unemployed, they simply do not have the same significance as they do for the work force.
Kind of scary that I am already happy to note that it is Friday on week two of a new job. muahaha
Since my boss was out of the office for the day, i set about to get more office cleaning done. Have I mentioned the place is a compete mess? OMIDAWG! Vendor catalogs everywhere, piled up here & there along with a bunch of other stuff that I have no idea of what it is, if I will need it, etc. I was sort of embarrassed for my boss until I learned that he actually straightened up a bit before my arrival.
A bit of good news, the boss let it slip that we really don't have any budget limits or guidelines when it comes to tuition reimbursement. A quick of course offerings from the local community college turned up a beginning Adobe Photoshop course being next week. The boss's response? Sign up!!! So next Wednesday, I will get a dose of Adobe Photoshop 101. The advanced class will be offered in July.
Also in the AMR news this week: After double checking on the models offered by Whirlpool, I placed the order our new microwave. Sexy in stainless & ravishing over the range top, baby. With my discount, we will be getting the top end of this product line for the mid-range model price. Hopefully, it will be here in 2-3 weeks time.
Puppy report:
Litter number one is growing well & is just as cute as cute can be. With good weather ahead for the weekend, they will be spending a lot of time outside soaking up some sunshine. This weekend will also mark their venture into solid foods! Wish us luck.
Litter number two is getting HUGE! Their eyes should be opening any day now.
