Two-fer Saturday

For this morning's hunt, we went over to Brian's brother's house. He's been seeing a lot of deer along his property line & it gave us a chance to see our nephews. Once we got the two sleepy boys ready, Brian took the boys with him & I get up by myself.

The guys bumped a deer going in & that was it for deer sightings for the morning for any of us.

For the afternoon, we drove out to 1painter42 's house to try our luck again.  When we arrived, she told us that there had just been deer in the yard!  Hopeful, we set up just past where Brian had shot the doe earlier in the week.  It was pretty neat, because once Brian jacked up in the tree, I could see him & vice versa.  My spot was in the sun for a little bit, which felt so nice!

Sadly, the afternoon ended without a deer spotting, despite our good locations!

1painter42 invited us to stay for dinner again & we had a blast!  She is really spoiling us!  Thank you!!!

I am SO going to sleep in tomorrow morning!
