Humping Hump Day
November 25th, 2009 05:39 pmGet your mind out of the gutter ... it's just a busy day!
Lasagna was assembled this morning and is in the oven now. As far as lasagnas go, this one is fairly healthy ... mozzarella and ricotta made with part-skim milk, low-carb lasagna, fat-free cottage cheese and my homemade sauce. I hope everyone enjoys it!
The turkey is thawing well and will be ready for its date with the oven tomorrow oven. In addition, I have prepped as much food as possible and gotten things ready to do easily tomorrow.
Met up with Mom and my Tigery sister in Culpeper for lunch and some shopping. We even put Mom in one of those "sit-in" go-carts at Martins since her ankle was hurting. She did really well in it, with the exception of running into us, but that was on purpose. ::: eye roll :::
Art and Kathleen are due this evening but I fear that they will be very late as they are taking an alternate route down to avoid 95.
I made my first loaf of white bread for Brian to take to his Aunts' tomorrow (it looks great!). For the morning, I will make a small French bread (my first try at the timer function) and with dinner, I plan on baking corn bread.
