Hot Tuesday
April 6th, 2010 06:20 pmSomehow Mother Nature is a tad confused with the segue from spring into summer. Today's temperature hit 90 degrees which is far too hot for the beginning of April. Being financially practical, I refuse to turn on the AC this early in spring! While the house got a tad warm, I stuck it out all day and now the thermometer is finally dropping a bit.
Duchess threw up once today (and it looked like she threw up a bit over night) but she is still a very happy dog and is eating her rice with gusto. She and Tucker got to run around a little bit before it got too warm outside.
Finally heard back from ABR Services - I have a job interview on Thursday! This firm does direct marketing for both the government and private sector. Other than that I don't have much in the way of details. ABR is located in Woodbridge which will not be as bad as getting near DC, but it still may be an 1.5-2 hour commute depending on traffic and the route.
Treadmill = zero (my tummy is a bit funky today and my foot hurts)
How is that for lame excuses?
The ex emailed me this morning to inform me that I should not email him unless it pertains to our separation. This rather comical because the only reason I have communicated with him in any form for quite some time now has been solely for the purpose of our separation.
For those of you who have my cell phone number - please disregard it, as I no longer have cell phone service. House phone works fine - if you need the number drop me an email.
