WTF? (in a good way)
June 17th, 2010 08:46 pmWow ... I am not exhausted for a change! It feels great too! I made the executive decision last night to get an extra hour of sleep and it made a huge difference. While I would really prefer to get in the office at 7 am and leave early, me getting out of there on time is not going to happen soon. So I will shift my hours to 8 am to whenever and at least get some rest at night.
Work went fairly well today until an error on the mail shop floor with postage happened. Sadly, my first shift supervisor made the mistake. She is trying very hard to do her job and I know she feels awful when things go wrong. We can fix the snafu but it eats up man-hours.
While I am still learning the software that we use to run the business it is slow going. I just don't pick up software like I used to, I guess; although this is a pretty complex program.
Got the yard bug from Mom running and mowed the back lawn. It looks so much better. The mower conked out on me so I am giving it a rest and I'll try to get more mowing done soon. We're due for a 3-day heat wave starting tomorrow so I am not relishing any outdoor work. The dogs are happy since they got some outside run-around time while I rode around on the mower.
Filled out all of the mortgage paperwork and hopefully someone from the office can swing by to get it tomorrow so that they can get my application moving.
No word from my attorney on the divorce claim number yet, but at least it has been filed.
