TGIF

Despite a long day at the office, it was a good one. No major mess ups (that I know of yet - LOL) and we made all of our mail dates today. Yesterday's postage mess is fixed and will be in the mail Monday. On a funny note, I had a meeting today with my floor employees. I learned it is very weird to talk with 30 or so folks who do not speak English. Thankfully there was some translating going on in the two dominant employee languages and I can only hope that I got my messages across.

Thanks to Mom for cooking dinner for me; it was awesome to have something to ready to eat when I walked in the door at 8 pm!

I have a busy weekend scheduled for myself with LOTS of chores to get accomplished. With the riding lawnmower on the fritz, I cut the yard in front of the house this evening with the push mower since the temperatures never reached the heat wave stage.

In fact, I had a very pleasant ride to and from work today on the Wing.

And yes, two less hectic days at work combined with me getting a bit more sleep has helped tons.

The mortgage paperwork has been turned in and hopefully I will learn something next week.

Since a few folks have asked me: No, I am not dating yet. No, there are no prospects.
