We find a perplexed operations manager (or whatever my title is going to be) who learns that the shop fails Merlin testing at the DC post office often and normally passes on the penalty to the client. The fee for yesterday's mail is not in yet but should 'only' be a few hundred dollars at most.
Well, I'll be darned.
Other than that little mystery, the day went fairly smooth. I've started the process for my clearance and so some of you may be getting an email from me asking for permission to use you as a reference. (Thanks in advance!)
Little miss Duchess is taking out the angst of missing me by destroying whatever is in her crate. She's gone through several beds and today chewed her food bowl. While I swapped out her pink bowl for a stainless steel one, I am out of beds for her gnaw on.
My attorney wrote to tell me that she has sent the waiver of service for the ex to sign over to his lawyer’s office. Once we get that back then we can do the depositions.
With the temperature nearing 100 for tomorrow and Thursday, I will most likely be taking the Endeavor to work since the heat is brutal on the bike and the chance of afternoon thunderstorms is great.
