A little update
March 23rd, 2012 10:15 pmTook the Wing to Motorcycle Factory, Inc. today with the help of
njzoomom.
daecabhir and I had planned on doing it tomorrow so that we could enjoy their open house but an 80% chance of rain.thunderstorms put the nix on that. Shane has been taking care of my Wings since somewhere around 1995 and has never steered me wrong. The bike needs tires (badly), state inspection (let's say it's extra expired), a service recall (brakes), a little service TLC and hopefully not much else.
After dropping off the bike (and being sadly underwhelmed by the helmet selection at MFI) Mom and I went for lunch and then it was on to Manassas Clay so that I could drop off two boxes of greenware. This is the last of my class clay and since firing and glazes were included in the price of the clay, I am going to get my money's worth. Plus is gives me a chance to experiment with some more glazes.
The week has been a busy one ... working on some hand-built pottery, cleaning greenware, a mammogram, house chores, leaf blowing (two-thirds of the back yard!) and another appointment for trigger point injections. Dr. Truong has turned over my injections to her PA and a massage therapist. This week's MT was _way_ better than last week's and I've made sure my subsequent appointments are with him.
The weekend will be a bit of a busy affair ... we've a housewarming party to attend tomorrow and then have folks coming to the country home on Sunday. At least we'll be able to skip setting the alarm clock for a change!
